VERY INSPIRING BLOGGER AWARD

Thank you Shaun of:http://prayingforoneday.wordpress.com/2013/04/01, Ajaytao of http://ajaytao2010.wordpress.com/2013/04/13 and Deborah of http://girlwiththepen118.wordpress.com/2013/04/13 for nominating me for the Very Inspiring Blogger Award.

I was amazed and pleased when Shaun, Ajaytao and Deborah started following my blog while I was recovering from surgery. All three individuals are well known in the blogging universe and I soon became acquainted with many of their other friends.

I encourage you to visit each of their blogs. I promise you, you’ll be happy you did.

THE RULES:

  • Display the award logo on your blog.
  • Link back to the person(s) who nominated you.
  • State seven things about yourself.
  • Nominate fifteen other bloggers for this award and link to them.
  • Notify those bloggers of nominations and the award’s requirements.

MY SEVEN THINGS:

  • I believe in 2nd amendment rights but I also believe our country has become much too liberal in the sell of guns. Not everyone has the right to own a gun.
  • No one but law enforcement and the military need semi-automatic or automatic weapons. (When on duty).
  • We must support our independent pharmacies. Big box stores such as Wal-Mart, CVS, Kroger, etc. as well as mail-order entities will take over pharmaceutical distribution.
  • I’ve been a health care strategist for over thirty years.
  • Between white-collar crime and poor congressional choices, I’ve experienced first-hand the destruction of a country I love dearly.
  • My father was my best friend and my hero. He’s gone now and I miss him every day.
  • I occasionally accept a government contracts along with my writing and blogging. I like to think it helps me keep my hands in the fire.

I now pass on the Very Inspiring Blogger Award to:

There you have it, my fab fifteen. Please give them a click. You’ll find talented and friendly bloggers waiting for you. Thank you for reading with me.

  3. Thank you very much! I’m flattered. 🙂 It’s always nice to learn about fellow bloggers and get references for more good reads! Thank you! 🙂 I like your “7 things” – I agree, and I’m looking forward to reading more about the wonderful things you’ve shared with your dad. 🙂

  4. Deb says:

My apologies for not getting here sooner for this posting, Sheri…Congrats on the award! And thank you kindly for thinking of me when you passed it on!…It’s an honor!

    • Deb – Not a problem. I love reading your blog and wanted to share it with others. I might not have found you if Lost Creek Publishing hadn’t reblogged one of your wonderful posts. I try not to knock anything over when I’m browsing in your botique shops:) You are a gifted artist.

  5. Once again, thx for the nomination Sheri. Wanted to pop over and read your 7~favs. Have to say, love your choices. Solid, yet sound, which can be a hard concept to find in politics, that I feel swings too far over on either side of the spectrum. Like you, whole heartedly believe in the 2nd amendment & our right to keep & bear arms. But also like you, I believe that the regulations by which we base gun ownership on, is far to lax. As well as allowing automatic guns in anything other than professional fields & by those who are given them in order to protect us. I worked in Law Enforcement for agents. And although I worked in the Crimes Against Children Section, it was a part of the Crime Control Bureau. They occupied the same building with us and had a room that housed their (Agents) weapons. I never could understand why a civilian would need to have some of the guns I seen in there. Which clearly can’t be used in hunting. My only issue with this, is that I worry that the laws will restrict law abiding citizens from getting them. While finding it hard to keep them out of the hands of thugs who’ll use them against us.

As for your other points, both Inion and I fall right around the same area as you do. Growing up in a home where my family operated their family owned business, I like you feel that massive corporations are laying to waste the “Mom & Pop” business’ that this country was built on. Excellent choices Sheri! Keep on fighting the good fight.

    • Thanks for the wonderful reply. You know there’s no rush in responding to the award. I like to get the names of blogs, such as your, out to my followers who might not be aware of the high quality you present with each and every blog you publish.

  6. Patty B says:

Congratulations – you do inspire all of us who read your blog. You light shines for all of us!! 🙂

  7. Congrats on the award! You find the most interesting, diverse blogs. Way to keep us on our toes, or would that be fingertips? Either way, you’re a heck of a lady!

  8. You are too kind, thank you so much! I gleefully and gratefully accept. Your seven facts are so interesting and I was nodding in agreement at them. I’m so average and boring, I can’t imagine 7 new additions about myself that anyone would want to read. I couldn’t get a few of the links to open, but I will be following the ones that did. Such a wonderfully diverse list….and me!

    • You’ll be surprised by what people find interesting about fellow bloggers. We’re such a diverse group. For example – I couldn’t find your first name on your blog. Have you left your name off on purpose? Additionally, if you’ll let me know the names on the links you couldn’t open, I’ll be more than happy to see if I can fix them. I had another blogger tell me there were a few she couldn’t open and I’d like to fix that.

  9. Congratulations to a very deserving blogger!

    SandyO

  10. Sheri, has anyone else told you that they can’t open the links for many of the bloggers you listed, or is it just me?
    Patti

    • No, I haven’t heard from anyone else. I went through each one and made sure they opened after I typed them into the blog. If need be, I’ll type them into an e-mail for you. If you’ll send me a message off line, I’ll send you a message. It may be a bit of time as I’m stopping now for a few hours but I’ll definitely get the info to you. The list is too good not to have it right. Sheri

  11. And a special thank you coming back your way. You are on classy lady.

  12. Congrats Sheri …well earned !

  13. Thanks for the shout out! I love posts like this 1. Because I learn more about YOU! 2. There are so many great bloggers out there and you make it easy to connect with them! I’m so glad that your recovery is coming along as you were missed so much, Sheri. ♥

  14. CONGRATULATIONS, Sheri! And thank you for all of those new bloggers I can look at. That’s a long list and I saw many I think I’ll love to follow.
    Patti

    • Patti – There’s not a single blogger on the list that doesn’t engage in following back and making comments on post. As writers we all love having readers and this group of bloggers is supurb. Don’t miss out. The three individuals that nominated me are indeed gold star bloggers in their support and the remaining fifteen are must-haves on any bloggers roll in my opinion. Thanks for reading with me today.
